I’ve used them all… GA, Adobe Analytics, Clarity, Hotjar, Crazzy Egg, Usertesting.com, Optimizely, Tobii… and the solution I stand by is Pendo. A powerful filter on the firehose of SaaS data that enables you to address findings with excellent no-code soltuions.

User Analytics

If you don’t have real metrics you’re just speculating with anecdotes. I use Pendo to give my companies a real view of the product. Using both statistics and sentiment it’s been the best UX analytics and product tool I’ve ever used.

Onboarding

Again, Pendo is a game-changer here. Built to provide no code guides you can build custom onboard experiences for any persona. Get your users to that “Aha” easily and quickly.

Knowledge Base & Resources

Users don’t want to reach out to support. Be intuitive and give them the ability to troubleshoot on their own. The Pendo resource center seamlessly adds these knowledgeable and resource options into your product, either home-baked or through Zendesk.

BECOMING A PRODUCT-LED SUCCESS


Why are companies betting on being product-led? It’s a cost-effective and results-oriented approach that provides sustainable and consistent growth. In 2019, every top SaaS IPO was a PLG business. Valued 30% higher than previous public SaaS companies. Any software company can adopt product-led systems to improve user experiences and increase go-to-market efficiency. My technique uses 3 phases: Strategy, Systems Execution, and Measurement.

Product-Led Growth

My introduction to the Product-Led scene was this book by Wes Bush. Interestingly enough it comes from the marketing perspective and admits that product and users should come first. A mistake many old-fashioned companies still make.

Mind the Product

A product-focused community that offers tons of education and assets. I’m Product-Led Certified through a course they put together with Pendo. A great asset if you’re looking to bring real change to your product or organization
